Some Qualifications Include:
Demonstrated multicultural competence in mental health service provision.
Demonstrated ability to conduct brief psychotherapy.
Expertise in clinical case management.

Preferred Qualifications Include:
Experience as a case management supervisor in a behavioral and/or medical health care setting (i.e. Behavioral Health Unit, Day Treatment Program, and Outpatient Mental Health Center).
Experience in a setting where medical and behavioral health care services are integrated.
Demonstrated competency and experience in management, supervision, and leadership.
Demonstrated ability to work with required computerized clinical record keeping systems.
Counseling experience in a college/university setting.
Demonstrated knowledge of a university environment and of the developmental issues and difficulties typically encountered by college students and a young adult population.
Special Conditions of Employment:
Must possess a valid California license, in good standing, in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy;
Will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check and a pre-employment credentialing check;
Will be required to complete HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accessibility) training within 30 days of hire;
Will be required to comply with current Student Health Center employee health safety requirements for health care workers as defined by state and federal regulatory agencies; current health safety requirements to be discussed during interview;
Will be required to complete Title IX (Sexual Harassment) training every two years;
Position will require occasional working of non-traditional hours.

Job duties include:
Assists with and provides leadership for monitoring and tracking students as they move through the Student Health Services system, which includes Student Health Center (SHC) Primary Care, Counseling and Psychiatry, hospitalization, and referral to off-campus outpatient treatment. Provides direct service and supervision for case management to a full range of students in CAPS and/or Primary Care. Provides follow-up for crisis intervention to a full range of cases, including students who contact the after-hours crisis program, typically managing the most difficult and high-risk cases.
