Provides assessment and supportive services to pregnant and/or parenting adolescents’ wards of the State of Illinois, Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Services are provided to facilitate stability of placement, assist client in transition from shelter to placement alternative, conduct follow-up on appropriateness of placement. Work is field-based.
Preferred Requirements: MSW/MA in human service area. Two years of child welfare experience and experience with pregnant/parenting adolescents.
Minimum Requirements: BSW/BA in human service area. One year of child welfare experience and/or experience working with pregnant/parenting adolescents.
Other Requirements: Must have valid driver’s license; proof of auto insurance per agency. Must pass fingerprint background check requirements; access to personal transportation; able to climb several flights of stairs.
