The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Medicine, seeks to hire a full-time (40 hours per week) Clinical Instructor faculty member. The position will work closely with outpatient team clinicians and nursing staff, to provide coordinated approach to care for patients seen at in the Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic.
Principal duties will include:
Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of behavioral health clients.
Provide effective treatment planning and assisting clients in successfully achieving goals.
Evaluate crisis situations and apply appropriate interventions.
Actively participate in meetings that support Cherokee's integrated health care model to provide comprehensive care for clients.
