Under the general direction of the Senior Director for Student Health, Counseling and Case Management, the Director of Case Management coordinates services and campus response to UC Riverside students experiencing varying degrees of psychological, emotional, and psychiatric distress. The Director is a student affairs professional with student mental health expertise serving in a nonclinical administrative role. The Director is responsible for ensuring the coherent and effective integration and deployment of the campus' Critical Student Incident Team (CSIT) and student threat assessment response. The Director advises Residential Life Crisis management operations and ensures active collaboration between Residential Life and Case Management professionals in addressing the needs of students of concern. The Director also serves as a Respondent Services Coordinator (RSC) providing comprehensive services and assistance to respondents (undergraduate, graduate, and professional students) alleged to have engaged in sexual misconduct (sexual assault, sexual violence, dating/domestic violence, stalking or sexual harassment).
