The Case Manager for Student Services will work closely with (and be supervised by) the Syracuse Abroad Assistant Director for Student Services. This specialized, full-time position blends collaboration and non-clinical consultation with colleagues at Syracuse Abroad and at our overseas centers as well as with colleagues in Syracuse schools/colleges and in the Division of Student Affairs, to address medical and psychological issues, crime victimization, life traumas, and other concerns or barriers that impede students' success while studying abroad. Responsibilities include responding to queries from students and parents related to medical and mental health, academic integrity, crime, life event issues, etc. developing and implementing a re-entry program for students, providing health and safety, and emergency response training to faculty who are leading programs abroad, managing the Student Services unit daily operations and working with University constituents to facilitate student success while abroad.
