Provide coordination activities in support of the California Prenatal Screening (PNS) Program as organized and directed by the State of California Department of Public Health. The PNS Program is a collaborative project between case coordination center, all prenatal care providers in the assigned geographic area, State Newborn and Prenatal Screening (NAPs) laboratories, prenatal diagnostic centers, nuchal translucency practitioners, and the California Department of Public Health-Genetic Disease Screening Program (GDSP). This coordination center currently serves Orange, San Bernardino, Inyo and Mono Counties.The PNS Coordinator is responsible for providing detailed case management and follow-up in accordance with Policies and Protocols for the PNS Program as set forth by the California Department of Public Health-Genetic Disease Screening Program (GDSP).Case Coordinators require specialized knowledge of PNS Program, genetic screening and diagnosis.
