The RN will be responsible for:
Completing Utilization Management Clinical Reviews for general population. Includes reviewing hospital admissions and continued inpatient stays to assess appropriateness of level of care and duration of treatment plan, in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and criteria.
Completing Utilization Management reviews for the behavioral health population (psychiatry).
Provides discharge planning and care coordination in the Emergency Department setting.
Working in a fast paced, collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams across the institution.
To qualify, you must have:
A BSN required, a Master's in a related Healthcare field preferred. CCM certification a plus.
Minimum 3-5 years of recent Case Management or clinical experience.
