Provides care, advocacy, and support to all students in crisis and non-crisis situations. Coordinates departmental education and outreach initiatives. Responds in an on-call capacity and in crisis situations. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB DUTIES:
45% - Essential - Advocacy: Provide care, advocacy, and support services for students in crisis and non-crisis situations who are experiencing academic, adjustment, behavioral, wellness, and other personal concerns. Support students through the CARE Network. Provide referrals to support resources within the university as well as community agencies. Provide consultation to students, faculty, staff, and families.
20% - Essential - On-call/Crisis Response: Serve as a member of the Dean On-call team to support students and families during after-hours emergencies. Provide after-hours support and consultation to staff serving in the dean on-call role. Serve as a part of university Crisis Management Team for the department as needed.
20% - Essential - Collaboration and Outreach: Coordinate and provide education and outreach to campus stakeholders including students, faculty, and staff. Develop and distribute marketing materials. Update and maintain department website content. Participate in campus programming. Serve on select department, division, and/or university committees.
15% - Essential - CARE Case Management: Conduct file reviews and assessment for Maxient CARE files. Serve as the back-up Scribe for the university Behavioral Intervention Team, and maintain notes and documentation. Assist with updating CARE policies and procedures. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Master's Degree - in education, counseling, social work, public health or related field preferred.
Work Exp - 5+ years professional experience in higher education with higher education case management. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
The best candidate for this positon will demonstrate experience with resource coordination and case management in sometimes complex situations, previous work supporting college students of concern, and experience with care and/or behavioral intervention teams. The candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to quickly synthesize information and make decisions. There will be times that the candidate will need to be flexible with scheduling in order to meet student needs, and to attend and support campus events. Knowledge of current student affairs case management and higher education literature and trends is preferred WORK SCHEDULE:
Standard Hrs: 37.5; Band: 06 ($ 39,960.00 - $ 52,500.00)
