The Conduct Coordinator and Case Manager position is an entry-level position playing an integral role in the Office of Student Conduct allowing for the exploration of student conduct, Title IX, compliance, and case management. The coordinator is a member of the conduct team, and as such will work collaboratively and build relationships with departments within Student Affairs and the University to aid in the success of the students they are working with. The Coordinator will work closely with the Director and the Associate Director in the planning and implementation of the daily working of the office as well as the future of the department. This position will provide a solid professional experience in preparation for a career in Student Conduct.

Adjudicate assigned conduct cases
Serve as review panelist for investigative model
Serve as an appeals officer for conduct cases
Participate in all Conduct, Title IX, and STARS trainings
Case Management and Administrative Duties
Assist in case assignment of incoming conduct cases
Serve as a case manager within the conduct office
Collaborate with hearing officers to assist in scheduling cases
Follow up with overdue cases and past due sanctions
Track the Student Affairs’ Division compliance with Clery and Title IX Training
Manage Student Conduct email account
Manage the Student Conduct webpage
Assist in the annual review of the Conduct Code and process
Assist the Co-Chairs of STARS with the promotion of the STARS team
Conduct workshops and trainings with different stakeholders to discuss the STARS process and reporting
Assume additional responsibilities as needed including on College committees or Task Forces
Assist in the development of campus wide programs on the the Conduct Code and Process for the training of student leaders and in the education of the campus community

Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Master’s degree in Student Personnel Services, Higher Education, or a related field
0-2 years of professional experience in Student Affairs
Full-time professional experience and/or graduate internship in student conduct
Experience investigating Title IX and other alleged misconduct
Experience using Maxient conduct software
Training from Association of Student Conduct Administrators at the Gehring Academy (foundations track)
Proficient in computer software programs including those in the Microsoft Office group, FileMaker Pro, Adobe Acrobat, and the University’s Peoplesoft (SIS) software
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to address the needs of students and staff and promote a positive student culture
Proven ability to work closely with faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni
Clear understanding of professional search ethics and processes
Understanding of and experience working with conduct processes including a working knowledge of FERPA
