Supervise crisis services and clinical documentation of crisis services provided to include crisis response, ITA evaluations, respite services, detentions, hospital liaison and LRA monitoring. Provide training and supervision for crisis responders. Be available to clinical staff for consultation during and after regular County work hours. Ensure compliance with DCR Protocols and laws relevant to RCW 71.05 and 71.34. Ensure staff coverage of crisis services to meet County/State/Federal requirements and contractual requirements. Provide crisis services as a DCR. Work cooperatively and effectively with the public and other employees. This is a non-union, exempt position. Master's degree from an accredited institution in mental health counseling, social work, or other closely related field.
Designation as a DCR.
Possess a valid State of Washington issued credential to practice as a Mental Health Professional, without restriction, probation, or limiting condition or threat thereof, or a pending Department of Health approval via proof of application provided within 30 days of beginning employment.
Possess a valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI) or proof of application must be provided within sixty (60) days of beginning employment.
Is not a State or Federal (OIG) or System for Award Management (SAM) excluded provider, in any capacity for the Medicare, Medicaid, and all Federal health care programs.
Muss possess a valid driver's license.
Successfully pass a background check, driving record check, and a pre-employment physical.
Possess education, training, or experience which clearly demonstrate knowledge and skills related to crisis response services, Less Restrictive Alternatives, Hospital Liaison services, and the Involuntary Treatment Act.
