JOB SUMMARY: Case Manager is responsible for recruitment, assessment and retention of clients. Must be familiar with WIOA guidelines and requirements including determining eligibility, making referrals, conducting registration/orientation sessions, intakes, and creating individual education and employment plans. Selected candidate will be working for a non-profit organization partner of TEC Services.
Conducts thorough assessment of clients and evaluates support service needs.
Develops a written client service plan specifying goals to be achieved and services to be pursued.
Provides, as appropriate, supportive help, advocacy and case management to individuals and families with employment needs.
Works collaboratively with community resources. Develops knowledge of resources available and helps clients to access them.
Re-assesses and monitors client situation and updated service plan as needed.
Collaborates and participates with other program staff in the planning and implementation of service plans.
Other duties/tasks as required or assigned by the Company.
1-3 years’ experience with workforce development programs and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
1-2 years case management or related experience and experience with IWDS.
1-2 years’ experience working with data base and document management systems.
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
Must have a valid driver's license.
