Compensation:
Pay Range: $67,070 - $108,990 / yearly

Job Description:
To possess overall accountability for daily supervision and coordination of Care Management department processes and work activities for utilization management, care coordination and discharge planning. To provide leadership and management of staff, including performance management review and follow-up, scheduling of personnel, interviewing, hiring recommendations, orientation, and education of staff. To support department operations and enforce compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory agency requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Accredited Care Manager (ACM) certification by the American Care Management Association preferred for Care Management area. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment. Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.
