Th Clinical Case Manager will work with multiple Bucknell University departments and multidisciplinary agencies to provide coordination of services to high risk students.
Organizational Relationships: Report to the Director of Counseling & Student Development Center Work closely with: multidisciplinary staff of psychologists, counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, office personnel, Office of the Dean of Students, Student Health, community providers and hospital staff.
Job Duties:
Leadership - Serve as liaison between community mental health providers and Counseling & Student Development Center. Oversee weekday crisis coverage and assist/fill in when necessary.
Intervention and Assessment - Provide risk assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination for students with complex care needs, psychoeducation and referrals for students. Coordinates services with the Office of the Dean of Students, Residential Education, Bucknell Student Health, International Student and Scholar Services, Accessibility Resources, the Office of Conduct, Bucknell Public Safety, members of the CARE Team, and members of the Threat Assessment Team for students with high risk needs. Conduct mandatory assessments for identified students referred to the Counseling & Student Development Center by the Dean of Students, members of the CARE team, Student Health and Public Safety. Maintain full and accurate case notes for clients.
Treatment Planning - Facilitate and track referrals for continuation of care for students with identified high risk needs and students recently hospitalized for mental health related reasons. Maintain a small counseling caseload.
Training and Education - Provide outreach and educational presentations as needed. Involvement with Center staff meetings and retreats. Attending CARE team meetings and serving on University committee(s). Attend continuing educational and professional development opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a mental health related field - Licensed to independently practice counseling in Pennsylvania (e.g. LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist) - Experience in Case Management - Ability to maintain up to date and accurate documentation - Outstanding interpersonal skills - Experience working collaboratively with other mental health professionals and community resources - Demonstrated experience providing services to members of marginalized populations - Commitment to equity and inclusion of people of diverse, intersecting identities Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest and experience with the mental health needs of traditional aged college students preferred - Experience providing presentations, training and education to students, faculty and staff Physical Demands:
Attendance: As full-time staff, work expectations are to be present when the office is open for services to students, typically all weekdays from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise assigned by Director. Professional staff members are expected to be on-call for a portion of the academic year during evenings, nights and weekends.
Full-time exempt employees are required to work as much time as is necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position without additional compensation, even if the work is performed beyond standard work hours.

This is a full-time, staff exempt, benefits eligible position.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of the application.
Salary Range:
This is a staff exempt position with a hiring range of $54,080 - $67,600 (E08). The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
