About Us
Located in beautiful historic Lewes, Delaware, Beebe Healthcare offers an array of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and diagnostic services. Founded in 1916 by two physician brothers, Drs. James Beebe and Richard C. Beebe, the medical center in Lewes is a 210-licensed-bed, not-for-profit seaside community hospital. Beebe's specialized service lines include cardiac and vascular, oncology, orthopaedics, population and community health, women's health, and surgical services.
In addition to the medical center, Beebe also operates three health campuses - Millville, Georgetown and Rehoboth Beach. These locations provide diagnostic imaging, lab services, walk-in care, and physical rehabilitation services. There are additional Beebe locations for primary care and specialty services in Milford, Millsboro, Long Neck (Millsboro), and Milton. Specialty practices include Beebe Cardiothoracic Surgery, Beebe Dermatology, Beebe Endocrinology, Beebe Diabetes Management, Beebe Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, Beebe Gastroenterology, Beebe Urology, among others. Beebe Home Care Services has serving the people of Southern Delaware for decades. Beebe is also proud to offer a nursing school - the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare, located in Lewes. Our Medical Staff has grown tremendously since the early 1990s. Family practice physicians, specialists, internists, and several surgeons are available so residents do not have to travel long distances for quality medical treatment.
